Overview $15 Starting Pay for Shift Manager Trainee at McDonald’s (franchisee-owned restaurant). This franchisee is a separate employer from McDonald’s USA. If you are hired, the franchisee will be your employer and handle all employment matters. Job posting details and eligibility are determined by the independent franchisee. Responsibilities Shift Managers lead shifts each week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain Quality, Service and Cleanliness. Plan for each shift, monitor performance, take action to meet McDonald’s standards, and monitor safety, security, and profitability. Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them to run a great shift. Meet targets during shifts and assist assigned Departments in achieving goals. Oversee tasks such as food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance and cleanliness, scheduling, training, and exceptional customer service. Requirements Managers lead shifts weekly to ensure a fast, accurate, friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers to ensure great Quality, Service and Cleanliness for customers. As a Shift Manager, you may be responsible for planning each shift, monitoring performance, maintaining safety, security, and profitability, and helping prepare the next Shift Manager to run a great shift. You may also help your departments meet their goals. Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally in restaurant, retail or hospitality environments. We’re looking for positive team players with a flexible schedule who enjoy a fast-paced environment and a passion to grow with McDonald’s. You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned and operated restaurants.
