We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage accounts receivable and assist with accounts payable activities. This role involves recording and verifying invoices, scheduling and making payments to suppliers, issuing invoices to customers, and tracking incoming payments. The Accountant will also maintain accurate records for audits and tax payments, facilitate sales tax compliance for various states, and assist the controller with employee services and risk management. Furthermore, the role involves producing monthly financials, preparing preliminary financial statements, analyzing past financial data, and handling month-end/year-end closing activities. Responsibilities include managing accounts receivable and assisting with accounts payable activities, recording and verifying invoices received, scheduling and making payments to suppliers, reconciling accounts payable ledgers, issuing invoices to customers, tracking incoming payments, maintaining accurate records for future audits and tax payments, tracking income and expenses, assisting the controller with employee services, HR, risk management, taxes, and loss control, producing monthly financials and management reports, preparing preliminary financial statements, analyzing past financial data, handling month-end/year-end closing, performing bank reconciliation, and making journal entry adjustments.
Essential Skills include accounts receivable management, invoicing and bookkeeping, proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, experience in accounts payable, data entry and invoice processing, and month-end closing procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in accounting or finance, 2-5 years of solid accounting experience, knowledge of A/R, general ledger, and financial statements, experience in A/P and payroll, and strong computer skills, especially within Microsoft Excel.
Work Environment: This position requires onsite work from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
