Job Summary: The Wellness Associate reports to the Wellness Director and the Wellness Manager, providing services and care tailored to each Resident's individual Service Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
• Monitor and report changes in Residents' physical and mental health promptly.
• Keep inventory of medical supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
• Help with Finding shift coverage when unexpected call outs occur.
• Orient and onboard new Wellness Associates.
• Respond to Resident emergencies; provide first-aid and arrange for medical follow-up.
• Assist Residents in maintaining cleanliness in their units.
• Promptly attend to Resident requests for assistance.
• Support Residents with meal selection, service, and feeding.
• Participate in recreational activities as assigned.
• Maintain records and files according to policy.
• Complete a minimum of 6 hours of in-service education yearly.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Compliance and Safety: Follow all emergency procedures and adhere to safety policies.

Communication: Communicate effectively with the Wellness Director and other staff, reporting significant changes in Residents health.

Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:

• Current State Nurse's Aide registration.
• Experience and passion for working with seniors.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Maintain positive relationships with Residents, families, peers, and staff.
• In good physical and emotional health, free from communicable diseases.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 60 pounds.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
