Job Description

The Commercial Service Plumber will handle service and repair work for restaurants, hotels, multi-family communities, and other commercial properties . This role requires strong diagnostic ability, professional communication, and the technical skill to work independently and efficiently on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair commercial plumbing systems including water, sewer, gas, and drainage.
• Perform service work on restaurant and hotel plumbing systems (e.g., grease traps, commercial water heaters, booster pumps, RPZ/backflow, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and repair multi-family building systems and common-area plumbing.
• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings when necessary.
• Provide professional, courteous communication with facility managers, property owners, and tenants.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and materials used.
• Ensure all work meets code requirements and Sweetwater quality standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency commercial service needs.
• Maintain a clean truck, organized tools, and professional appearance at all times.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial plumbing service experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances.
• Experience with multi-family, restaurant, or hospitality plumbing systems.
• Current NC Plumbing License preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and teammates.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various jobsite conditions.
