Overview:

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Cybersecurity Engineer SME to support a Zero-Trust Architecture modernization project. This position will be located at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX and will be an onsite position.  

Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Experience  

• Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI  

• CISSP or other cert that meets 8570 IAT level III is required

• Technical experience with multiple operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, or ESXi  

• Experience with STIG compliance , vulnerability management , and application of risk management framework to both legacy and new systems deployments.  

• Experience with US A F cyber governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platforms Xacta and eMASS  

• Understanding and experience with the DoD hardware/software approval process  

• Strong understanding of network architecture  

• Familiar with identity management solutions and SIEM software  

Qualifications:

High School with 9+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

• Clearance Required: TS/SCI

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with Unix operating system  

• Experience working with a zero-trust architecture

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range: USD $140,000.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr.
