Fleet Manager Join to apply for the Fleet Manager role at Maverik, Inc. Oversee and manage all day‑to‑day driver and service‑related activities and functions for assigned geographical/terminal driver locations including but not limited to daily planning, dispatch of customer orders, and ensuring that all orders are dispatched within requested delivery windows. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day issues regarding service, equipment management (in conjunction with Region Manager), driver‑related issues, and service deviations. Work with Central Planning Operations Manager/Senior Fleet Manager to analyze and provide solutions for chronic problems within operations, including performance versus customer expectations, efficiency concerns, and driver performance. Navigate Solar’s TMW dispatching software and multiple screens to utilize email, customer websites, and dispatching software. Work a 12‑hour shift, including weekends. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. Experience 1+ year experience in a Fleet Manager position at a logistics company preferred. Experience in the transportation industry preferred. Previous managerial experience preferred. Competencies Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills. Practice operating independently without continuous oversight or direction. Proven ability to effectively prioritize and balance competing needs. A history of taking initiative to identify and solve work‑related problems. Experience exercising initiative and sound judgment in decision‑making. Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management. Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time as required by business necessity. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $50,000 – $62,000 per year.
