This is a contract opportunity only. As a Material Control Specialist , focused in our Receiving and Material Center area contracting with our Morgan Hill office, you will have responsibility for processing inbound material accurately and quickly, then routing it to the proper end user in our Receiving department while assisting with inventory management with our raw material center.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Signing for material
• Sorting inbound packages into their proper category
• Processing material into our ERP system
• Apply proper markings for packages and parts
• Deliver items to end users on campus
• Assist with putting stock away in raw material center
• Assist with pulling product for internal customers
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory management at an entry level

Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to work on a computer and use email
• Must be able to work from reports and or excel spreadsheets

In order to be successful in this role, the following competencies and behavior skills are required:

• Must be punctual and be present at the time expected
• Must have a reliable form of transportation
• Must be able to work with a team
• Must be able to work at a fast pace.
• Must be assertive with decisive after properly trained
• Must be accurate with data entry

The hourly rate for this position is $20/hr - $21/hr. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
