Job Title: Wheelchair-Accessible Transport Driver
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Wheelchair-Accessible Transport Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to safely transport clients, including those who use wheelchairs or have limited mobility, to and from medical appointments, community programs, and other destinations. The driver will operate both standard vehicles and wheelchair-accessible vans, ensuring that all passengers are transported with dignity, care, and in full compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles, including wheelchair-accessible vans.
Assist passengers with mobility challenges when boarding and exiting the vehicle, securing wheelchairs and other mobility aids as needed.
Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to all passengers.
Ensure proper vehicle maintenance by reporting any mechanical issues, keeping the vehicle clean, and following required safety check protocols.
Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage reporting, and follow all company transportation procedures.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding scheduling, delays, or concerns.
Follow all relevant state and federal transportation safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
EMT a plus
CDL a plus
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience driving larger vehicles or passenger vans preferred.
Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or mobility challenges a plus.
Ability to lift and assist with mobility equipment as needed.
Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
