Responsibilities

2. Procedures: Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures; provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.
3. Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.
4. Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
5. Team Collaboration: Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
6. Quality Improvement: Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.
7. Compliance: Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.
8. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.

Qualifications

• A valid and unrestricted California medical license
• Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
• Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program

We are aligned with Dignity Health, the largest hospital system in California. We are seeking a Spine surgeon interested in building a program. Our affiliate hospital, St. Josephs Medical Center, has earned the Joint Commissions Gold Seal of Approval for Joint Replacement for Hip and Knee Certification.
