Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic with specialties in small engine repair to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive and equipment repair, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot small engines, and trucks. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of machinery, utilizing advanced mechanical skills and technical knowledge to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on small engines, including lawnmowers, weed eaters, and other equipment
• Utilize schematics and technical manuals to accurately identify issues and implement solutions
• Conduct general automotive repairs as needed
• Repair and maintain our truck fleet and other industrial equipment
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding, soldering, and electrical experience to complete repairs efficiently
• Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, and system inspections
• Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and troubleshooting electrical systems
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and adheres to manufacturer specifications
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly

Experience

• Proven mechanic experience with small engine repair is essential
• Knowledge of schematics, electrical systems, and mechanical components required
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts replacement
