Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Med/Surg Telemetry with a minimum of 18 months recent experience. This position requires a dedicated healthcare professional who is proficient in the nuances of telemetry and medical-surgical nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in a medical-surgical telemetry setting.


• Monitor patient status and report any changes to the healthcare team.


• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.


• MUST HAVE PERMANENT Ohio License or Compact State License in hand.


• AHA BLS & ACLS required; willingness to obtain NIHSS prior to start.


• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for required for submission.


• Must complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation with acceptable scores.
