Wire EDM Operator - 1st shift
OTTO's opportunity: Our
Wire EDM Operator - 1st shift will program, set up, run, and maintain multiple Mitsubishi Wire EDM machines. In addition, the ability toset up, run, and maintain the Belmont EDM drill.
Specifically, the
Wire EDM Operator - 1st shift will
: \n - Program Wire EDM machines using Esprit
\n - Assist with daily machine tasks
\n - Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Machine maintenance
\n - Drop slugs on active programs
\n - Bead Blast post EDM details and plates
\n - Assist with other related duties as required or assigned
\n - Keep a clean and safe work area
\n - Assist with other related duties as required or assigned
\n - Multi-tasking is a big part of this position
\n - Assist with other related duties as required or assigned
\n
\n
What you'll need to bring to the table:
\n - 2 years CNC set-up
\n - 2 years CNC programming (Cad Cam software like Mastercam or Esprit)
\n - Ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, height gauge, depth mic)
\n - Tool and Die Blueprint reading
\n - Ability to lift and move 90 lbs. with assistance as necessary
\n - Ability to push 200lbs. on wheeled carts with assistance as necessary
\n - Must be available for mandatory overtime or non-standard or extended work schedule
\n
\n
Preferred skills and experience:
o Experience with WEDM (Wire Electrical Discharge Machining) set-up and operating
o Experience using Esprit Cam
o Experience using Mitsubishi EDM Machines or similar platforms (GF, Sodick, and Fanuc)
o Tool and Die knowledge

\n - Target hourly hiring range: $25.00 to $31.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
\n - Profit Sharing Bonus - OTTO believes that it's fair to share the profits that the employees help to make; profit sharing is distributed to employees twice a year. OTTO's profit sharing plan is paid at the discretion of the company and is not a guaranteed bonus or any part of a compensation plan.
\n - Vacation:five days after 30 days of employment and 80 hours at 1 year - vacation time is earned on the anniversary date.
